Stockport Community Cycling Club formed in 1999-about 100 years after SCCC.

After a spell as a kid's club we re-launched in the adult/family market in 2005. We don't race but have good relationships with Mossley CRT and  also pass potential racers on to SCCC.

We are basically a club for the "middle aged" cyclist starting out on cycling or coming back to it.

Our rides are over moderate distances at a moderate speed and Saturday rides are mainly off-road on trails. We introduced a Sunday ride programme last year on road.

We do have a few youngsters who come with their parents and many of the riders are women looking for a safe environment on routes which someone can find for them.
