At 50 miles today 15 riders were away at 2’30". Rob was up there & stayed to the finish to get 14th. Rob also got into a break earlier in the day earning himself an easy day tomorrow, not.
The stage was long & hot. So hot the tar was melting on the roads as yesterday. Plenty of water & food was the order of the day.
Both Dunc & Wayne got rear wheel punctures but no mechanical problems like Dunc had on Sunday.
Will’s got a sore bum.
I felt alright today, must be coming good.
Not to worry this was the half way stage it must be all down hill from here on in but then again all the hills are coming now!!!!!
2 riders did not finish today.
