| Comments: | Thanks to SCCC for sending a top squad to our event. We were devastated when your A and B teams withdrew, but your C team really gave the crowd a good show ! The fact that they rode in fancy dress as Welliphant & Santa was a bonus ! They needn't have ridden so slowly, but the spectators enjoyed the waving and shouting very much. |

| Comments: | I forgot to mention that there was also a slightly tubbier man on what seemed to be a time trial bike that was with these other faster cyclists. It was a shame that he was not fast enough to keep up and could not make it to the top as he came back past my house shouting "SLAYER !!!" |
